Dr. Shaun A. Thompson is the Director of Expat Dental and hails from the USA. He has been working in Singapore since 2009 and has gained invaluable experience and an unrivaled reputation as a provider of high quality care for expatriate families in Singapore since opening Expat Dental at Novena in 2013.

He practices general family dentistry with keen interests in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, facial aesthetics (i.e. Botox & dermal fillers) and dental sleep medicine (i.e. snoring & sleep apnea). Dr. Shaun combines the use of the latest technology and his strong service ethos to make dental care a positive and hassle-free experience for everyone.

As a parent, he knows how important it is to make every member of the family happy and healthy with their dental care.Dr. Shaun received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with honors/ leadership awards from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA. Dr. Matt Thompson is an American dentist who moved to Singapore from the United States (Nashville, Tennessee) in 2013 and has experience practicing dentistry in both the US and Singapore. With a commitment to excellence and extensive training, Matt provides first-class care with a personalized and welcoming style.

Matt graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA. He subsequently earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry in Memphis, where he earned numerous awards and scholarships and graduated with high honors.

He is currently a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Singapore Dental Association (SDA).He practices general family dentistry with concentrations in endodontics (i.e. root canal therapy), oral surgery, implants and cosmetic dentistry.

In his free time, Matt enjoys traveling, SCUBA diving, and golf. He also has a passion for philanthropy and has participated in several humanitarian medical/dental relief efforts around the world.

Dr. Marc Adelberg has been delivering outstanding pediatric dentistry since 1998. He received his undergraduate education from the University of Albany, majoring in psychology, and his dental education from the University of Buffalo. He completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center, the hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, graduating in 1998.

He is a board certified pediatric dentist.He often lectures to residents at Montefiore Medical Center as well as mommy-and-me groups, pre-schools, nursery schools and kindergarten classes. Dr. Adelberg is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He performs in many school shows in the area, introducing the fun of dentistry to many 3- to 6-year-olds.Dr. Adelberg was raised in Long Island and maintains a home and family there.

He practices mainly at the Nesconset and West Islip offices. He and his staff strive to bring you the most comprehensive pediatric dental treatment available.

Dr. Ericka Montalvan, a pediatric dentist since 2005, has been practicing dentistry since 2000 after graduating from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, majoring in biochemistry and minoring in chemistry.

After dental school, she continued a one-year general practice residency at a VA Medical Center in Florida. Two years after practicing general dentistry, her heart was set on pediatric dentistry, and she went to New Jersey to complete a two-year residency at UMDNJ Dental School. She is a board certified pediatric dentist.

Dr. Ericka, mainly practicing in West Islip and Massapequa Park, also volunteers in the community and is involved in dental missionary trips around the world. She is an active member of many dental associations such as the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the NYS Dental Association.

She was raised in sunny Miami, Florida and now lives in New York with her husband, daughter and son. Dr. Ericka is fluent in Spanish and Sign Language. She strives to provide exceptional care for your children.

Dr. Adam Postel grew up in New Jersey and graduated from The Pennsylvania State University. He went on to receive his dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then pursued a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. There, he was selected by his colleagues and attending doctors as Chief Resident. Dr. Postel is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is board certified.

Dr. Postel loves being part of the team at Adelberg-Montalvan Pediatric Dentistry and loves to keep children smiling with his compassion and sense of humor. He usually works in our Nesconset location. When not practicing pediatric dentistry Dr. Postel can be found exploring museums and restaurants in New York City, rooting on NY sports teams, traveling and spending time with his friends and family. He is married and loves living on Long Island.

Tarek practiced Dentistry and Periodontal surgery for years while simultaneously working in Management and Marketing. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University in Egypt. He has a graduate certificate in Periodontics & Oral Medicine from the same University and a Diploma in Sales & Marketing from the American University in Cairo. He has an MBA from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. Tarek has a CVA certification from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and is also a Business Broker working on his CBI Certification.

His expertise includes M&As, Business Valuation, Human Resource Management, Business Operations, Dental Organizations Management, and Dental Support Organizations platform development and management.He has written three publications and currently working on a book addressing Management of the Dental Practice and DSOs. He is currently the Chief Operations Officer/Co-founder of OrthoDent Management LLC. Tarek is also a public speaker and competes in Toastmasters International.

As a healthcare provider, Dr. Rising loves being able to take care of people. He's dedicated to providing the highest quality dentistry with all the comforts. He looks forward to getting to know people and the challenge of creating a unique and customized plan for each patient. Helping people on a personal level is more fulfilling than he ever thought possible. After being born and raised in a small town in North Dakota, North Dakota State University is where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. Him and his wife, however, have called Omaha home for many years. Creighton University is where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. 

Dr. Gilbert Snow has been creating beautiful, healthy smiles since 1971, and he has gained a reputation for providing the highest quality and most modern orthodontic treatment available. Dr. Snow is a graduate of USC School of Dentistry with a post graduate specialty degree from Loyola University in Chicago. He is a renowned speaker and presenter on orthodontics and Invisalign in local, national and international forums. Dr. Gilbert Snow founded the Hi Desert Children’s Dental Clinic in 1986, which provides free dental care to children from low-income homes and with no insurance. With the help of local participating oral care professionals, the clinic coordinates approximately 50 appointments annually.

Dr. Minchau grew up in Johnstown, PA. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1996 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University in 2000. He then completed his postdoctoral specialty program in endodontics at WVU in 2004.

Jeff enjoys staying active with his family playing Golf, Stand-up-Paddle boarding, or boating on our amazing lakes in the area. Jeff married his wife Beth, a family nurse practitioner, and Morgantown native in 2000. They have two sons, Owen and Ryan, and a daughter Sara….the main reason for his grey hair!

Dr. McBride was raised in Petersburg, WV. He received his undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in 2001, his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University in 2005, and then completed his postdoctoral specialty training in endodontics at WVU in 2007.

Kent loves to pursue outdoor activities including, skiing, golfing, hunting, backpacking, and photography.  He has also recently earned his private pilots license. Kent and his lovely wife, Sarah, have two little boys Cole (born in 2013), and Cooper (born in 2015).

Dr. Stiles is from Kimberly, WV, a small town in the western end of Monongalia County. He received his undergraduate BS degree from WVU in Forensic Identification. He graduated from the WVU School of Dentistry in 2008. He went on to obtain his postdoctoral specialty degree in Endodontics from WVU in 2010.

Spencer married his high-school sweetheart, Bethanie, in 2006, and they had a son, Henley, in 2009. In 2013, they had their second son, Challen, and on Spencer’s birthday (April 29th) of 2016 they had a daughter, Briston.

Ken Cooper, originally from Columbiana, Ohio and currently residing in Canfield, Ohio, attended Youngstown State University where he studied Finance & Marketing. Ken acquired his Series 7, 63, & 65 Licensure and began working as a Stockbroker and Investment Advisor with Wheat First Securities. From 1995-2005 Ken acted as the CEO in several joint venture deals with Atlantic Records/WEA distribution, Universal Records/Fontana distribution, and Sony Records/Red distribution. In 2008 he founded Dental Express and again in 2010 he co-founded Refresh Dental. Ken also serves on the Mahoning Valley Drug and Alcohol Board. The DEO is proud to have Ken as a Charter Faculty Member!

Kevin has over a decade of experience in the business of dentistry. He has valued and sold over 120 dental practices, managed over $100MM of revenue in a DSO and is co-owner of a start-up dental practice, Mundo Dentistry. He earned his BA from Washington & Lee University and MBA from the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University.

Jay has been a Principal at The Riverside Company since 2013. Prior, he was Senior Associate at VSS Structured Capital Funds in NYC.

CRAIG CASTELLI is the Founder and CEO of Caber Hill Advisors. He launched Caber Hill in 2014 in order to solve a problem plaguing millions of business owners: a lack of qualified, experienced advisory firms willing to serve small and middle market companies.

In this role, Eric managed day-to-day legal, corporate and compliance issues, including ensuring enterprise-wide compliance with corporate practice of medicine laws, HIPAA rules, Medicaid requirements and other state reporting requirements. He also reviewed employee and independent contractor compensation structures to ensure compliance with state anti-kickback and fee-splitting laws and negotiated administrative service agreement compliance with affiliated dental practice owners. Additionally, Eric documented fair market valuation negotiations for administrative service fee adjustments and assisted in screening potential acquisitions and growth opportunities for practice owners. He also advised practice owners with regard to state regulator and licensing board investigations on behalf of dental practices.

Earlier in his career, Eric gained valuable experience as an Associate with Greenberg Traurig where he advised clients on Stark law, anti-kickback statute, HIPAA and state and federal regulatory issues. He also advised providers on healthcare regulatory matters related to an asset sale to a private equity group and subsequent formation of dental service organization.
