The ideal candidate has experience in media buying and has a strong understanding of how to optimize pages and funnel to improve the performance of their campaigns. This is a full-time position (35-40 hours per week). The salary range for this position is $45,000 – $60,000 annually, with a generous incentive program, comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k plan, company-paid short and long-term disability coverage, and paid time off. Job Video – Media Buyer

Role

The Media Buyer will lead the scaling of media and lead performance through managing Facebook Ads, Google PPC and other paid media channels to maximize results. The Media Buyer will be responsible for the full execution of marketing campaigns across various channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. and identify the best strategies to maximize scale and minimize acquisition cost. They will manage campaigns by optimizing bidding, budgets, targeting and ads. The Media Buyer will analyze data and metrics to ensure profitability and implement optimizations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve Facebook Ads strategy including developing copy, graphics and video as needed; creating and managing campaigns; and analyzing and optimizing all aspects of campaigns (including bid management, budgeting, search query analysis, etc.)
  • Lead expansion of paid ads on various platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google PPC and Display and lead initiatives and experiments with new platforms and channels
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Funnel Strategy, Lead Magnet Strategy, Webinar Strategy and Live Event Promo Strategy
  • Establish A/B Testing Program for Ad Copy and Landing Pages
  • Report on performance metrics of deployed campaigns to drive learning and optimization
  • Analyze media buys and metrics to ensure profitability
  • Analyze web metrics, provide campaign effectiveness reports, and implement optimizations
  • Conduct research into best practices and stay up-to-date with the evolving digital ecosystem and relevant cultural events that may have an impact on your buying strategy on campaigns 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to set priorities, manage expectations and maximize performance of all display campaigns

Results:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive paid social strategy 
  • Utilize split testing to improve conversion funnel
  • Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI) to ensure effectiveness of paid strategy
  • Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience online media buying and planning with budgets exceeding $100k annually (Facebook and other social campaigns)
  • Comprehensive understanding of Facebook’s ad auction, general advertising ecosystem, best practices, bid and optimization strategies, and campaign objectives
  • Experience running successful ad campaigns for online trainings/courses and/or service and e-commerce businesses
  • Understanding and knowledge of landing page design and optimization.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and analyzing data
  • Experience with Facebook Ads a bonus
  • Infusionsoft experience is a bonus
  • Excellent communication, organization and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, open & entrepreneurial environment
  • Willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and an ability to understand and discuss new technical concepts.
  • Self-starter that shows strong initiative and passion for digital marketing
