MB2 Dental Solutions

Dr. Chris Steven Villanueva, Founder/CEO

In 2004, Dr. Villanueva, affectionately known as Dr. V, graduated in the “meaty middle” of his class at Nova Southeastern.  Upon graduation, Dr. V did what any smart, young graduate would do – drove 16 hours overnight to Dallas, TX chasing a girl (now his lovely wife and mother of his four children, Carol).

Dr. V spent the next few years working at various DSOs and private practices, recognizing the benefits and challenges of each. In 2007, unwilling to settle for either option, his eccentric “out of the box” thinking lead to the creation of one of the most progressive and fast growing dental platforms in the country. Through his leadership, Dr. V and his partner dentists have grown the Dental Partnership Organization to over 100 offices in 7 states, making MB2 one of the largest doctor owned, privately funded dental groups in the industry.  This past October, Dr. V and his dental colleagues successfully partnered with private equity firm, Sentinel Capital; a transaction that allowed every one of the 37 dentist partners to take advantage of the enterprise value, an opportunity unheard of in the dental industry. Dr. V continues to serve as CEO of MB2, a highly differentiated platform to not only operate dental practices, but also a first of-its-kind investment platform for dentists.
